RPG Stuttgart sailing on LNG

Shell Trading Rotterdam recently has put the first of a series of 15 pieces dual-fuel inland waterway barges named RPG Stuttgart into use.

The barge is built by Dutch shipyard VEKA Shipbuilding and is designed with innovative features related to safety, environment and optimized cargo volume.

This is the first of a total of 15 barges for owner Plouvier Transport, the RPG Stuttgart will sail under the Swiss flag.

For the RPG Stuttgart and the next 14 barges Cryonorm supplies the on-board Marine LNG Fuel System including control system and LNG bunker skid under the consortium agreement with Wärtsilä.
