Argon is one of the most valuable gases with less than 1% volume percentage in the air. It is difficult to extract and produced via the method of fractional distillation of liquid air. Venting the boil-off Argon gas from your flat bottom tank is also a true waste, therefore we have developed a simple reliquefication unit using liquid Nitrogen (LIN) as sacrificial cooling medium.
In your air separation plant, the availability of LIN makes this the perfect cooling medium to recover your valuable Argon. No further rotating equipment required, because it is a very robust and reliable system.
