In Memoriam P.J.M. Tel
Thursday December 08th, we have taken note of the message that our founder, former director and former commissioner
P.J.M. Tel
passed away at the age of 87.
Piet, or Mr Tel as it used to sound so familiar, laid the foundation for the current organization of CryoTek and Cryonorm 60 years ago. As a pioneer and entrepreneur pur sang, he pushed the boundaries of the possibilities and introduced the entrepreneurial spirit from which we still reap the benefits on a daily basis. Starting in a small factory in Heemstede, he first developed mechanical and hydraulic installations. In 1968, cryogenic vaporizers were developed that, under Cryonorm brand, would eventually grow into a world-class cryogenic player.
We are enormously grateful for what he has meant to our company and wish him all the peace and quiet he has been given.
